Enochs Hall Studio Theater

Architect: Belinda Stewart Architects
Location: Mississippi School for the Arts
               Brookhaven, MS

Enochs Hall, a 150-seat studio theater reopened as part of the new Mississippi School of the Arts in 2003, was originally built in 1920 as part of the Whitworth College Campus. The campus is on the US National Register of Historic Places and serves 11th and 12th grade gifted art students as a boarding school.

Our work included schematic and final technical recommendations to the architect for noise, room acoustics, and performance space planning of a the theater, within the restrictions of a historic building. Special attention was given to user needs and future planning.
