White Station High School

Architect: MMH Hall, Architects and Planners
Location: Memphis, TN

These renovations were part of a “Deferred Maintenance” project for Memphis public schools that utilized the maintenance budget to greatly improve the existing auditorium acoustics/AV and classrooms to accommodate a hearing-impaired magnet school in Memphis.

Our work included design of an assortment of ceiling tiles in the auditorium to create appropriate acoustics for the choir and orchestra, a digitally-steered sound system to overcome the difficult geometry and reverberation, and updating/augmenting the hearing impaired system. Classrooms were upgraded to meet the National Classroom Standard.
